Lost in the mail...

Finally got around to posting some photos from mid-May that I shot on my Panasoic GF1. There are more to come still! I haven't gotten around to getting the Panasonic shots into my general workflow in a timely manner and tend to leave all the photos in the camera until it's full and needs emptying. Oh well, enjoy nonetheless! The shots are from Rehab, KDM at RiNo and the night at superfunparty at Jbar that I DJd which was a ton of fun!

Last Week's Rehab...

I know it's over a week and change over, but here are a few photos from last week's Rehab at Debonair. I bring it up mostly because I was DJing in the basement that night and it was a ton of fun because I got to play a bunch of indie rock, alt rock and pop punk while Santi snapped some pics. If you're into that kinda stuff, be sure to come out to Beauty Bar each and every Tuesday to hear stuff you don't normally hear every night in the clubs! And be sure to wear your Be Stupid shirts if you want to drink for free this Saturday night at One Night Stand!

Checking in with Rehab

Chicago's most consistent party has been going on mostly without me these days. It's not that I'm avoiding it or anything. I've been there, just not with my camera. Luckily for us, our pal Santi has been doing a good job of keeping us in the loop. As always, you can find the party photo galleries over on the right.

It's true, Rehab is tonight (Monday night) at Debonair but these are some shots from last week's Paper Magazine event, which apparently resident DJ Skyler was not able to attend because he was stuck in a jail cell (thus the 'Free Skyler' signs). I leave town for 4 days and all sorts of crazy shit happens...

Missed Rehab

I missed this week's Rehab because I was busy at home not getting wasted, and while I may regret not being there for all the hot action, I regret it a little less now that Santi has supplied us with some photos from his night at Debonair.

Case of the Mondays

What do you know, more Rehab photos.. but this time we're excited to bring you additional coverage by our friend Santi, who will be contributing photos off and on to this blog. Monday was an all-too-common case of a night where I plan to "go out for one" and end up going home a few hours past one, if you know what I mean.

New Year, Same Rehab

My first night out in da clubs of 2010 was spent at Rehab, of course, testing out my new Panasonic GF1. Have a long way to go with it, but it's much more subtle than lugging around my 5D, with 2 flashes and a PBR, all night long. It's a much needed break for my hand muscles, so Merry Christmas to them as well. Now I just need to get people to take me seriously when I aim the much-smaller camera in their direction. That might be a bit of a challenge.

'Boner Rehab

If you haven't heard, the weekly Rehab party has moved from everyone's favorite bar/club evilOlive to everyone's favorite bar/club Debonair Social Club. DJs Autobot, Bald Eagle & The Hood Internet were among the DJs providing the jams. LA Riots' Daniel was in the building causing his usual havoc and free condoms were provided by perhaps the best party sponsor ever, Trojan. Peep the pics below!

Spring Rehab

I'm back in Chicago and that generally means back to going to Rehab on Monday. Of course, it took me nearly a week to get these photos up considering it's Sunday afternoon and there's another Rehab tomorrow night. And speaking of that, I'll be DJing at said Rehab along with Mano & Yello Fever & Black Holes so come out and hang! And of course, don't forget to come out to DONTBECHI Tuesday at Crocodile! Another Monday, Another Rehab

You know Rehab and you love Rehab. It's turned into Chicago's best and worst hipster hangout and consistently draws huge turnouts on arguably the least desirable night of the week to hang out and drink til 4am. This week was no exception.. Willy Joy played the jams along with Hiroki and residents Yello Fever & Team Bayside High. It was fun for me to get back into the groove of shooting nightlife again.. been kind of avoiding it lately.
